yknow there’s

an eternal darkness that sometimes beckons to me. my whole life i fight it and run away from it and i can be in the sun again for some brief moments in time but

without fail,it’s the most reliable thing about me or my life.

a hundred shadowed inky hands appear behind me. they restrain me and

they pull me back in

and every time it happens i think

“i belong to it.”

i belong to that darkness and i keep trying to escape

but when something owns you, it doesn’t matter how far away you run or how long you get in the sun

it always owns you, it will always come get you

because

i belong to it.

and you see me im

i’m a really good dog

i’m vicious.

i rip and i tear, i maim and maul

but

im a good dog.
